It was a pleasure working with Durango Remodeling! Tyler and Jess are wonderful people to work with. We had them do a full remodel of our kitchen and master bathroom, new flooring throughout the house, new windows, and new paint throughout. Jess, Tyler & their amazing team at Durango Remodeling completed a forever-kitchen remodel for us in February-March 2025 and the results far exceeded what we imagined our new kitchen could be! Jess totally dialed into our desired aesthetic and provided invaluable and patient guidance in helping us select beautiful finishes within our budget. Tyler walked the floor plan many times to come up with the best demolition and renovation plans, identifying issues ahead of time, and brainstorming better ways to do the project. The tremendous experience, knowledge and ideas they brought to the project, and their sense of ownership over the project from beginning to end, was off the charts! We enjoyed working with them, their team, and their partners. All have an amazing level of dedication to their craft and were a delight to have in our home. Additionally, their contract, schedule, and invoicing processes were straight forward and well communicated. To the very end, every detail was attended to, and they made it a priority to finish strong. We stand in our kitchen now and just say, “Wow.”

Jess, Tyler and their entire team constructed an addition to my home and it turned out better than I could have expected! The addition was a new master suite including master bedroom with sitting area, master bath with walk-in shower and soaking tub. Spectacular! The windows, doors and roof were also replaced. Jess with her design skills, Tyler with his construction management skills along with a team of skilled tradesmen just made the whole experience fantastic. I could not have asked for a better company and will be using them in the future for the kitchen.

Durango Remodeling was wonderful to work with. I relied on their ideas and experience for a small space/foyer in our downtown home that they beautifully transformed. Their work was impressive and they were very professional in keeping me in the loop with timing, etc. I highly recommend them and have plans to use them again for another project up at our Purgatory condo.

I LOVE Jess and Tyler. I LOVE their subs ... this is a top notch outfit. They are not the cheapest in town, which I believe is a plus -- they are able to retain top talent across the board, from flooring and tile to electrical and plumbing and everything in-between. Jess has a fabulous eye for design and is always ready to help you create your perfect space, and Tyler is genius at problem-solving ... and we all know to expect the unexpected when remodeling or renovating! I can't recommend this team highly enough!

Tyler and Jess extensively renovated our newly purchased home in Durango. The work included completed remodel of the kitchen, Master Bath, and fireplace as well as adding a new deck to the NW side of the house. Tyler and Jess listened to our descriptions of how we wanted to use the different spaces as well as to what we wanted the overall house to feel and developed practical designs that really met what we wanted the result to be. The kitchen is the heart or our new house. Jess designed a very spacious kitchen (the island alone is 14.5' by 4.5') that functions like a compact kitchen. Her design featured stations tailored to specific activities. We have a bar station, a baking station, a coffee/tea station, a cooking station, a cleaning station and an eating area all within the kitchen. Each station is self contained so we rarely walk the length of the kitchen as we cook and entertain. Our fireplace is the first thing guests see when they enter the front door. We wanted a bright, warm space to greet our friends. Each morning and evening we have coffee/tea in front of the fire. From the fireplace, Jess designed the flow to open to the living room, the kitchen and the new deck that features mountain views. Jess designed the master suite to feature the mountain views and access to the new deck. The bathroom and closet are well tailored to our lifestyle. The herringbone patterned tile covering the back wall of the bathroom Jess designed is a beautiful feature of the master suite. Throughout the renovation Tyler kept us apprised of needed changes to the design and schedule. Several times we had to adjust the design to meet the budget. I was very impressed by the quality of the work completed by Tyler and his team. I am no expert on constructions or trade, but every time I researched best practices for construction in an area, Tyler and his team had already incorporated those practices in our renovation. We have had very few issues from the 1st day we moved in.

Tyler and Jess were fantastic to work with. Our remodeled house is beautiful; their work is high quality. They were helpful and responsive through every step of the remodeling process. We appreciated how they worked with us to complete major renovations within out budget. If we did another remodel, they would be our first choice and we recommend them to our friends.

Wow, Tyler and Jess are great! From a builder family, trained and experienced in engineering, Tyler is a problem solver and moves the project with ease and grace. Jess has experience and competence with design; excellent and very helpful. They are able to get the best subcontractors: plumbing, electric, cabinetmakers, painting, flooring --even in the pandemic. On time, under budget, clean and courteous, no surprises, no remorse. Our major remodel came out exceptionally well, even with conundrums in electric, plumbing and design--everything solved and done by a great team. I will use them for my next project!

We could not have been happier with Durango Remodeling! From the very beginning, they worked with us as we planned our master bathroom renovation. I worked with Jess the most. She helped me all along the way as I chose a vanity design, colors for the vanity, walls and trim, all fixtures, and a toilet. She accompanied to various businesses as I picked out everything from door pulls, sinks and toilet to a granite slab for the vanity countertop. I would have been lost without her! After deciding that we wanted to use Durango Remodeling for our bathroom, we also chose them to complete a large painting project (living and dining rooms, kitchen, 2 hallways, guest bathroom, and foyer). All the subcontractors with whom Durango Remodeling works are outstanding at their crafts. For example, along the way it was discovered that our living room skylights needed repair before painting could begin. Jess and Tyler found excellent craftsmen to complete that complicated job. We were greatly pleased with the work of all.....painters, electrician, plumbers, demolition crew, granite templating and installation, etc. We have been happy with the manner in which Jess and Tyler have kept us informed all along the way. From the beginning there was a timeline to which they were able to adhere 99% of the time. That is really saying something in Durango at this particular time because SO much construction is going on and because of material shortages due to COVID. Jess and Tyler are delightful individuals to work with....always upbeat and professional. I highly recommend Durango Remodeling if you are considering a remodel of your home.

We had a very good experience using Durango Remodeling for our bathroom refurbish. Both Tyler and Jess are courteous , polite and responsive. The project took longer than expected due to factors beyond their control but the final result more than met our expectations.We used Jess to help make decorative decisions such as tile ,countertops, paint colors , etc which made the process so much easier for us. The craftsmen they use ( tile setters, plumbers, electricians, painters etc.) were all people they have used for years and very good. We wouldn't hesitate to use Tyler and Jess again. T. Johnson
